A Response to Life in Reality

Something is.

We call all that is Reality.

I find myself alive in Reality.

I am free in my heart to consent to life in Reality or withhold my consent.

What should I do?

Well, is Reality good?

I have no basis beyond Reality upon which I can judge Reality, so I cannot say.

In hope, I choose to trust that Reality is good.

How good?

Partially or completely?

I cannot say.

In hope, I choose to trust that Reality is Perfect –

including its imperfection and my ability to ameliorate it.

When I trust in the complete goodness of Reality, I surrender to Reality completely.

When I surrender completely to Reality, I commit a priori to embodying its implications.

Then I can perceive its implications.

Then I can embody its implications.

Then I become an agent of Reality.

If Reality is perfect, then an agent of Reality is an agent of Perfection.

This idea is not new.

In the Bible, the name God refers to the ground of Reality;

in the story of the burning bush, God tells Moses that His name is I AM.

The Bible says that God is Perfect.

The Bible has survived in Reality for thousands of years - longer than any empire.

Perhaps this is because it corresponds with Reality.

Perhaps we should read it and do what it says.
